What makes Longboat Key one of my favorite beaches is its natural beauty. If you are planning a small beach wedding, Longboat Key will not disappoint. As a destination and elopement wedding photographer, you always look for special locations. With only a few hotels and resorts, Longboat Key is still a bit of a sleepy town. But that is what makes it so attractive to beach elopements. I photographed many times on Longboat Key and more than once, I experienced empty beaches. That applies especially for weekdays and the hour before sunset.
You can also choose to stay in resorts and hotels in Sarasota with a little drive to get to Longboat Key. Of course, there are a few beach entrances that are my favorite on Longboat Key. You may ask which ones? Well, that is a secret 😉
