Daiana and Mattias are Florida residents who decided to have a beach wedding just for the two of them.  They selected Hollywood Beach because it is only a short drive from their apartment and the beach is really beautiful with many backgrounds for photos.

Hollywood Beach - Fort Lauderdale

While most couples decide to celebrate their wedding with family and friends, there are several reasons why some couples just want to do this for themselves. I love photographing small weddings and elopements because usually, the timeline is not as strict and structured as on a traditional wedding. Most brides and grooms are also much more relaxed without the pressure of having to attend to family and friends. They can just enjoy their day and celebrate their love for each other. 

Diana started the day by getting her hair and makeup done in the privacy of their apartment which is approximately 20 minutes by car from Hollywood Beach. She loves purple Chrysanthemums and Eucalyptus greenery and integrated them into their wedding decoration and bridal bouquet. Hollywood Beach has boardwalks that lead out to the beach. They are perfect for the bridal entrance and also great for taking photos. I started the wedding photo session with some pre-wedding bridal portraits right on the wooden boardwalk.
