I find an engagement session helpful for couples who booked wedding photography with me. It gives us a chance to get to know each other, and often helps you to feel more comfortable with me and in front of the camera. In other words, it is a trial run before the wedding. Another reason to do an engagement session is when you need professional photos for your wedding announcements and invitations, or just because.
