Glad you are here looking at my work as a photographer. Let me introduce myself so you get to know me a little. My name is Babette, born and raised in Munich, Germany I am the daughter of a commercial photographer and artist and the oldest of six siblings. I am bilingual and speak German and English. From a very young age I fell in love with photography and my pride was a Canon AE-1 camera that went with me on many travels. I dreamed of being a photographer and seeing the beauty of this world through images. But life threw me some curveballs. It took quite some years to close the circle and make this childhood dream come true. I have lived in Florida since 1999 and Florida and have been professionally photographing for over 20 years.
My favorite food is Spaghetti in all imaginable variations. I like to spice things up and even as a “seasoned” photographer there is not a day without learning something new, or finding room for improvement. I like the intimate and personal approach to all of my work. For wedding photography, I specialize in small, micro, and destination weddings. If you are celebrating with over 50 guests for an all-day wedding session, I may not be the right choice for you. I work alone without a second shooter. Of course, I am available for ceremony-only assignments, intimate couple sessions, or pre or post-wedding photography.
Most of my wedding photography is in Florida but I was also hired for destination weddings in other States and Europe. I like traveling and have visited many European countries. I love photographing people and their Life Milestones. From marriage proposals and engagements to weddings, maternity to birth, newborns to first Birthdays, Lifestyle and people photography is what I love to do. I don’t like to be put in a photography style or box. I capture what I see and keep it simple and natural.

After the actual proposal, I will take you for some portraiture and engagement photos. Birthing photography is raw, candid, and unpredictable. It is not about the photography, it is about you and your journey of giving birth. Bringing a new life to this earth is an utmost private and intimate time. Birth photography should always be discrete and never interfere. Documenting a birth in photos is a new chapter for me. But with a background in newborn and delivery nursing, I understand the process, and sometimes challenges of giving birth. I am available in Central Florida within a 50-mile radius of Ocala.
Maternity photography at locations of your choice are available in Central Florida. I either come to you or we will select an outdoor location. Partner and siblings are welcome.
Newborn photography with naturally beautiful images of your newborn baby. I photograph in a candid, posed, or mixed photography style. I am available within a 50-mile radius of Ocala and will come to your home, hospital, or locations of your choosing.
Other photo sessions that I offer are family and children portraiture, vacation, capturing life milestones, hobbies and sports, artist and band photography, and most other people photography. Just contact me and we will discuss your photo needs.
